Remembering Glenn Kaplus

We are sorry to report the passing of faculty member Glenn Kaplus. The following is a notice from his Division Chair, Prof. Brush:

“On Sunday, we lost one of our outstanding part time faculty members, Glenn Kaplus. He passed away suddenly of a sepsis infection. Glenn has been an active contributor in developing entrepreneurship curriculum, mentoring students and in teaching entrepreneurship courses since 2002. He was most generous with his time in working with both students, small business managers and CEOs. He has taught in several of our Glavin Programs, is a frequent contributor in interviewing entrepreneurs, and has written several blogs about entrepreneurial growth.

After receiving his undergraduate degree at Northeastern, Glenn obtained his MBA from Babson College and spent many years as mentor and consultant at Streamware and later, Sheerwood Management Group which he founded. He went on to work at Gap International as an executive coach, and director of the senior leadership team. For more than 20 years he provided executive coaching for companies such as American Express, Avaya, Fidelity Investments, Johnson & Johnson, Lucent and other companies. More recently, he founded his own consulting company where he coached and mentored business founders facing growth challenges.

Glenn was also heavily involved in community service, a 25 year rider in the Pan Mass Challenge. His friends have set up a facebook page—www.facebook.com/Glenn_Kaplus.

Services are private but notes may be sent to:
